The Parent Council is recognised in law as the body
that represents the views of parents at Ladeside.
The school and local authority must listen to what we say
and give proper response.
Why have a Parent Council?
Because you are important and make a real difference to your child’s learning –
when parents are involved, children do better and achieve moreTo work together with everyone involved in school life – parents, learners, teachers, school staff and the wider community –
to support the schoolTo make sure that you have a say in your children’s education – and are able to
express your views and wishes. To build links and
involve parents with the wider learning community – nurseries and pre-school groups, other schools and services. To listen to what you want us to do and report back to the Parent Forum on our activities and how they can get involved too.
